The DeWitt Wallace Library Annual Report of 2018-2019 is an editorial project that was completed in the span of about two months. As one of two graphic designers, I oversaw the majority of the Report's creative direction. Of the 50 pages, I designed more than half and edited the rest. The project was an exercise in creative branding and effective layout design.
In addition to designing the Report, I photographed a large number of the photos featured throughout the piece.
The Report was published on a yearly basis and a design template was available for reuse. Many issues in previous years had followed the same layout. This was my first year working on this project. For this particular issue, I identified several areas for improvement in the template and tasked myself with producing a Report that was more modern and consistent with the library's visual brand. As a result, I revised numerous layouts and created new designs--all of which were then included in a refreshed template and could be repurposed for future issues.
